Poor Clare Nuns: a life for the Church
Poor Clares offer praise to God eight times a day, rising at midnight to pray for the world.
Saint Clare's whole life was a Eucharist because from within the cloister, Clare and her sisters raised up a continual "thanksgiving" to God in prayer, praise, supplication, intercession, offering and sacrifice. She accepted everything and offered it to the Other in union with the infinite "thanks" of the only-begotten Son, the Child, the Crucified, the Risen One, who lives at the right hand of the Father. You do not know, hidden and unknown as you are, how important you are in the life of the Church; how many things depend on you.
